According to the search warrant, detectives Santa Fe reportedly found new details he said.
In his affidavit, the detective argued that “the deaths of two dead individuals are suspected sufficiently in nature to demand a thorough search and investigation.” According to TMZ.
The affidavit continued. “The reporting party discovered that the main entrance of the residence was opened unsecured and observed a healthy dog running through the facility, another healthy dog near the deceased woman, and a deceased dog 10-15 feet lying in the bathroom closet.
According to documents, Hackman’s body was in another room. According to TMZ, the detective said “there are no obvious signs of a gas leak.”

911 Audio captured calls placed in the authorities when the bodies were placed.
Hackman’s wife, Betsy Arakawa, was found lying on the right side of the floor in the bathroom, according to the affidavit. German Shepherd was found dead 10 to 15 feet away from her body, police said. The adjutant said that he observed the black space heater near her head and believed he had fallen over, so she suddenly fell to the floor.
The sub-swap stated that an orange prescription was placed at the counter. The bottle was open and the pills were at the counter, according to the documents. The body reportedly disassembled with bloating and mummy in her hands and feet, suggesting that she had been dead for quite some time.

Police found Hackman in another room split from the kitchen, according to the affidavit. He was still dressed and suspected that he had suddenly collapsed due to his sunglasses being by his body, the documents said.
The search warrant said the fire department responded and said there were no indicators of carbon monoxide leaks or poisoning. According to TMZ, the New Mexico-based gas company also tested its gas system in and surrounding areas.
“At this point, there are no indications or evidence that there are issues related to the settlement and the surrounding pipes,” they said according to the warrant.
The two maintenance workers found the bodies and said they hadn’t observed Hackman or his wife for about two weeks, according to the aide. He said workers found the front door open but there were no signs of forced entry.
Hackman’s daughter, Elizabeth Jean Hackman, told TMZ Thursday The family believes that death was caused by carbon monoxide, but that is uncertain.
