The Colorado-based company will set up a new 270,000-square-foot industrial facility on the southeast side of Tucson. micro star logisticsThe leading keg logistics provider will employ more than 200 workers at this state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the storage and reclamation of stainless steel beer kegs.
As part of its “Shared Keg” service, MicroStar will recondition beer kegs and allow empty kegs to be returned to the nearest participating brewery, reducing transportation costs and environmental impact. Additionally, the company recently launched a network to manage reusable plastic shipping pallets used in the beer keg industry.

This expansion will enable us to provide additional efficiencies to our valued brewers,” he said. The new MicroStar facility will be located off Interstate 10 between Rita Road and Houghton Road.
The project is expected to create approximately 200 new jobs and bring significant economic benefits to the Southern Arizona region. Roles span various departments such as operations, production, quality control, logistics and administration. MicroStar has finalized plans to secure 20 acres of land for the Rita Ranch Commerce Center in Tucson, where the impressive building will be located.
