Swalwell Gives Wray A Tongue Bath, Asks About FBI ‘Family Day’

California Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell decided to ask FBI Director Christopher Wray about the agency’s “Family Day” during Wednesday’s testimony before the House Oversight Committee.

Swalwell asked Ray to explain what Family Day is and why the station chose to observe it in the allotted time.

“Family Day is for agents across the FBI…bringing families to FBI headquarters to see a little bit of where their loved ones work and why moms and dads are spending so much time. It’s an opportunity, ‘away from home,’ said Ray.

“A lot, a lot, a lot. It’s a chance to say ‘thank you’ to your family. Law enforcement talks a lot about sacrifice. But the reality is that law enforcement officers and professionals make sacrifices to do what they love. Our family makes sacrifices for those we love,” Ray said.

In May, Republican Georgia Congressman Marjorie Taylor Green introduced an impeachment article against Wray. The Daily Caller obtained a copy of the impeachment article for the first time.

Green also told Kohler in June that Congress was “guaranteed” to hold Wray in contempt for failing to provide the House Oversight Committee with documents allegedly related to President Joe Biden. Told.
