Sydney Sweeney said she beat the paparazzi by revealing her new role as they took images of her hiding in the bushes on the set of a new project.

The famous actress shared two images of herself on Instagram on October 16, ahead of the impending paparazzi news leak.

Sweeney wrote in the caption: “Thanks to the puppy in the bushes, the cat was safe, so here’s a little snippet from the movie I’m currently working on.” She also informed fans that she will be playing professional boxer Christy Martin in an upcoming biopic.

Martin famously competed in the ring in the 1990s and 2000s, and her story is being brought to life again with Sweeney starring.

An Instagram photo showed Sweeney standing between movie trailers, looking completely transformed into the character. As she worked her toned muscles, her blonde hair was replaced by dark brown hair and bangs.

The star looked very different from how she appears in her everyday social media photos.

“For the past few months, I have been immersed in training to bring to life the story of an incredible woman, a true champion who fought her battles both inside and outside the ring,” Sweeney wrote in the caption of the post.

“Her journey is a testament to resilience, strength and hope, and I am honored to stand in her shoes and share her powerful story with you.”

The title and release date for the upcoming biopic have not yet been decided.
