Continuing his National Tarantula Day celebration, Ranger Shaun is heading out on a Tarantula Safari. Let’s head up Yavapai Point Trail just after sundown and break out the flashlights to see if we can spot some elusive spiders! Restrooms available at Cottonwood Day use area. NO pets, flashlights and closed toed shoes recommended. Yavapai is an easy-to-moderate hike with a total distance of approx. 3 miles. MEETING LOCATION: Cottonwood day use area; use north entrance to access the lake (past main entrance) Limit 10 participants.
