Tashaun Gipson Suspended Six Games After Violating NFL’s Steroid Policy: REPORT

Tashawn Gipson Sr.a free agent safety who played the past two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, was suspended six games by the NFL. report ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tuesday that Gipson's punishment was for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances. Gipson was signed as an addition to the team ahead of the 2022 season. He reinvigorated his career in San Francisco and became a starter at free safety. The Niners re-signed him to a one-year, $2.9 million contract.

Gipson appeared in 16 games in the 2023 season, recording 60 tackles, one sack and one interception, followed by 61 tackles and five interceptions in 2022. He had five tackles in San Francisco's Super Bowl 53 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and recorded 14 total tackles in the playoffs.

You all know how I feel about steroids. I don't really care if athletes use steroids.

After all, baseball's golden age was truly glorious thanks to Juice.

Say what you want, it was pure entertainment.

But at the same time… why are we still stupid enough to try to get away with using steroids?
