Taylor Swift has broken her silence about the terror attack that was allegedly thwarted in Vienna, Austria earlier in August.
Three people have been arrested in the case, and authorities have said they believe the plot was inspired by the Islamic State and al-Qaida terrorist groups. Guardian.
“Stepping onto the stage in London has been a rollercoaster of emotions. I was shocked to hear that my Vienna show was cancelled,” she wrote on Instagram. The famous singer went on to explain the personal blow it has caused: “Hearing the reason for the cancellation has left me with a new sense of fear and an immense sense of guilt as so many people had planned to come to the show,” she said.

According to The Guardian, investigators said they found chemicals and bomb-making materials during a search of the suspect's home, along with technical equipment that officials said indicated “concrete preparatory acts” at an “advanced stage” of the attack.
Swift expressed her gratitude to those involved in thwarting the attack.
“We are also very grateful to the authorities. Thanks to them we were able to mourn the concert and not our lives,” she said.

“I have been touched by the love and solidarity shown by my fans and have decided to do everything in my power to protect the almost 500,000 people who came to see my show in London,” the singer wrote.
Swift has made her involvement with local authorities clear.
“My team and I worked daily with stadium staff and the UK authorities to achieve that goal and I would like to thank them for all they have done for us,” she said.

The famous singer explained that he couldn't speak about the matter as it is evolving.
“I want to be very clear: I'm not going to speak about something publicly if I think it could incite people to seek to harm the fans who come to my shows,” she said.
“In this case, 'silence' is actually about showing restraint and waiting to express yourself at the right time. My number one priority was successfully completing my European tour, and I'm very relieved to say I have done so,” Swift said. This is Swift's first public statement since the threats were reported.
