Taylor Swift Fan Books 191 Hotel Rooms For Her Fellow Swifties

A Taylor Swift fan booked 191 hotel rooms in New Orleans in anticipation of the singer’s tour being cancelled.

Local resident Rebecca Fox put her entrepreneurial skills to use and cleared out a room to show her dedication to her fellow Swifties. She claimed she knew the hotel had been charging exorbitant rates for rooms at previous Swift concerts and said she wanted to make sure Swift was offered a fair price. Fox initially tried to reserve 20 rooms to help fans lock in an affordable price, but her project quickly escalated.

In anticipation of Swift’s three-week concert series, Fox is booking rooms at Holiday Inn and managing rentals for fans on social media, but it’s not selling the rooms for profit. he claimed.

She admitted that the hotel was initially unsure of how to respond to her request.

“They were very anxious,” Fox said. WVUE Fox 8 News.

“But once their marketing and sales people say, ‘I don’t think you guys understand what Taylor can do and what it does to our property.’ I think they changed their minds.”It’s been a lot more exciting since then,” she said.

Foxx said she drew from her own experience with the hotel charges she paid for a Swift concert in Arizona, and claimed that some hotels had increased their rates. She was determined to provide a better experience for fans attending shows in New Orleans.

She said she personally paid about $500 per room to lock in a fair rate to ensure the Swifties could take advantage of the price.

The economic boost from Swift’s concerts comes as hotels, restaurants and local attractions benefit from the star’s booking power and fans’ purchasing power, including the star’s tour destinations as part of “The Elus Tour.” It is felt in each of them.
