Taylor Swift was in the same area as her boyfriend Travis Kelsey, but decided not to attend his game.

When Kelce appeared in Sunday’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, Swift was in Toronto, Canada, as part of an Elas tour stop. That means she’s only a short flight away from her boyfriend, or at worst a little over two hours’ drive. Swift has gone out of her way to attend her boyfriend’s games in the past, but it appears she decided to skip this time.

Swift has become an integral part of Kansas City Chiefs games, so it seemed odd that she would be absent from this game, especially considering her proximity. It’s unclear if we smell trouble in paradise or if they simply had other plans.

It’s unclear why she didn’t go to the football game, considering the 34-year-old star performs the show Thursday through Saturday and had Sunday off. Swift did not perform on the day of the game, adding further mystery to her unexpected absence from the game, but she was off tour for several more days. Swift could have easily seen Kelce without having to rush back to her scheduled performance.

Swift’s next concert as part of the Toronto leg of her tour is not scheduled until November 21st.

The Grammy Award winner will conclude his tour in the region with a sold-out concert on November 23rd, thrilling sold-out Rogers Center crowds for the third consecutive night.

Swift and Kelsea have lit up the celebrity dating scene with every public appearance, and both appear regularly to support each other’s careers. All eyes are on the famous singer to see if Kelce will happen to appear at an upcoming show.
