U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz has endorsed Congressman Barry Moore in a tight Republican primary race against Congressman Jerry Kahl (R-Mobile) in Alabama's newly created 1st Congressional District. There are only two weeks left until voting day.

Cruz, a leading conservative and 2016 Republican presidential primary candidate, has supported candidates in the Yellowhammer state over the years, including a 2022 Senate bid.
