Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz criticized a witness on Wednesday who said oil companies should face prosecution of climate-related deaths.
David Arksh, director of the Public Citizens’ Climate Program and author of 2023 paper “Climate murder: prosecuting large oil for climate death,” he appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
