Ted Cruz to host roundtable on college athletics, Nick Saban and Greg Byrne to attend

As college athletics continues to evolve and change, elected officials are increasingly interested in regulating name, image, and likeness (NIL) for a positive future.

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) will host a bipartisan roundtable featuring some of the biggest names in college sports.

Nick Saban and Greg Byrne are also scheduled to attend the event.

When Saban retired, he said he would spend his time trying to improve the state of college sports, but he was adamant that college sports are not in a good place and he would do everything he could to fix the problem. The face of sports.
