Tennessee Mother Arrested For Child Neglect After Post Goes Viral Of Her 5-Year-Old Daughter Waxing Clients

A Tennessee mother was arrested Monday on child neglect charges after a social media post of her 5-year-old daughter helping a customer wax went viral, authorities confirmed.

A Memphis, Tenn., mother, Jasmine Moss, 30, was arrested on child neglect charges after she posted a photo of her 5-year-old daughter helping a client wax on her professional Instagram account, authorities said. Ta. Memphis Police Department began receiving complaints from local residents about the Feb. 15 social media post, leading to Moss' arrest nearly four days later. Moss originally posted the series of photos to her business account @jasminedemiracle, but they quickly went viral after they were uploaded, TMZ reports. report. The posts have since been deleted, but some images show Ms Moss' young daughter being forced to spread her legs in front of her five-year-old daughter and waxing the female customer's fully exposed crotch area. It showed how it was being painted.

According to TMZ, the Memphis mother boasted about her young daughter's involvement in her work, allegedly claiming that her 5-year-old daughter worked on 24 clients in about eight hours.

“When I say I'm passing on Deed & LLC to my work, I mean it,” Moss reportedly said in his post.

However, Ms Moss quickly faced backlash online for the disturbing image, with many criticizing it for showing a young child completely exposed to a naked female stranger. An investigation into the incident is ongoing between the Memphis Police Department and the Department of Children's Services, who also asked the public not to “screen save or transmit” the images.

Moss is currently being held in jail without bail pending a court appearance Wednesday. according to To WREG.
