Tennessee’s Omari Thomas Blasts Celebrating Arkansas Fans With Aggressive Shove After Razorbacks Upset Volunteers

I don’t know if I should knock him or give him 2-1 credit.

It’s a tradition in college football for fans to rush onto the field after a come-from-behind victory, but emotions can reach a fever pitch and put both players and fans in bad situations.

Saturday’s game between the Tennessee Volunteers and the Arkansas Razorbacks in Little Rock gave us just that. The latter two fans were violently shoved by a player as Vols players and their teams were being removed from the field following the upset loss. And not only that, the guy he pushed also took out a chick, which gave him that two-on-one I mentioned earlier. After the contest, a fan in the stands posted the video on social media, where it has since gone viral. The clip features a player from Tennessee who appears to be a defensive lineman. Omari Thomas (No. 21), shoved a fan who tried to pass through a populated area on the field.

As a result of the thrust, the fan crashed into the woman in front of him, causing them both to fall to the ground.

Thomas also appeared to say something to Razorbacks fans before returning to the team, where he was escorted by coaches and teammates to the locker room.

I’m sure Omari Thomas knows more than this, but I can’t help but be a little impressed with his 2-on-1.
