What on earth was going on here?
Houston Texans offensive lineman Titus Howard During the Sunday Night Football game between the Texans and Detroit Lions, he made an incredibly confusing play.
Texans quarterback at the beginning of the fourth quarter CJ Stroud He was dancing in the pocket after taking the snap, but the Lions were attacking him in a true pressure cooker situation. But it wasn’t Detroit that shut down Stroud & Co., it was Stroud’s own teammates who fired him. Yes, that’s right. (Related: Lions’ Jared Goff becomes the 4th quarterback in history to throw five interceptions and lead his team to a road win)
At a crucial moment in the game, Howard actually grabbed the QB and was part of the sack after two Lions defenders slammed Stroud to the ground, but it wasn’t even the majority of it. In the process, he stole the ball from Stroud after intentionally pulling it, and immediately pounced on the ball after it fumbled.
Lol…what the hell?

We’re not in the conference room, but why would Titus Howard force a fumble on a QB? pic.twitter.com/YvplV98Xb9
