What the hell happened?
It was pure magic Thursday night as the Frisco Wakeland High School football team pulled off an incredible victory as time expired, capping off an instant classic. (Related: Kyle McCord’s historically poor performance lifts Pitt’s first feat in nearly 20 years)
Frisco, a defensive end/guard, won with incredible momentum. austin wilson He picked up a fumble near Wakeland’s own 1-yard line and ran to the end zone in a scoop-and-score fashion for a 99-yard touchdown. With this score, Wakeland 65-59 overtime victory Over Frisco Lone Star.
To make things even more strange, they suffered their first loss of the season to Lone Star due to a fumble recovery TD. This probably doesn’t bode well for the No. 18 ranked Texas — it hurts.

As I was here at the end of October writing about high school football, I realized that the season was coming to an end, and now I was sad.
Hell, I know we love talking about baseball, but there’s no way we can’t be romantic about something like this.
I’m going to miss those crazy days when high school and college football is gone.
