Country music star Ingrid Andress apologized Tuesday after receiving criticism for her poor performance of the national anthem at Monday night's Home Run Derby.
Andress made headlines for her terrible performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” with many fans immediately calling her performance the worst they'd ever heard. Fans relentlessly attacked Andress on social media, comparing her performance to the infamously terrible national anthem performances by Roseanne Barr and Fergie. The star now admits that it wasn't her best performance during her time in the spotlight.
“I'm not going to lie, I was drunk last night,” Andres said in a statement Tuesday. twitter.
The country singer revealed that he has struggled with alcohol problems and is seeking help to get through this difficult time.

Andres apologized to Major League Baseball, all sports fans and the American people for failing to deliver the country's most cherished ballad.
“I apologize to MLB, to all my fans and to the country I love for this performance,” she said in a direct apology for her botched performance.
“I'll let you all know what rehab is like. I hear it's a lot of fun,” Andres wrote at the end of his social media post.
