WARNING: SPOILER ALERT
Come and See, the production company behind the hit series “The Chosen,” announced Tuesday that it has officially closed on funding for season five.
Writer, director and creator Dallas Jenkins seems to have quickly immersed himself in season 5 of his critically acclaimed TV show, The Chosen, after a harrowing journey in season 4. Last seen, Jesus Christ (played by Jonathan Roomy) and his disciples are about to enter Jerusalem, bringing the story arc of King David's entry into the city that bears his name, truly full circle.
The ending was beautiful, but it came at a very heavy price after an already harrowing season, and it did absolutely nothing to relieve the weight of incredible tension as this next chapter unfolds… hopefully, we won't wait too long to see it!
“Season 5 is fully funded thanks to over 100,000 people around the world who donated to make season 5 of this groundbreaking series possible,” said Come and See CEO Stan Jantz in a statement shared with The Daily Caller. “The extraordinary generosity we see every day is inspiring so we can continue to make the real Jesus known to the world, one episode at a time.” (Related article: Cast and creators of 'The Chosen' discuss their incredible journey to becoming one of the biggest shows in the world)
