DeAndre Hopkins has picked a new team!

The free-agent superstar wide receiver is reportedly set to sign with the Tennessee Titans, having reportedly agreed to a two-year deal worth about $15 million in his first season. Doug Kaid of A to Z Sports.

Hopkins’ deal with the Titans is expected to close in the next few days, according to reports, with a base salary of $12 million for the first season, which could go up to $15 million with incentives. ESPN.

A 10-year NFL veteran, the 31-year-old Hopkins is quickly becoming the top veteran receiver in Tennessee’s young receiving corps. He will reportedly be slotted as an outside receiver, opposite second-year wideout Treylon Burks.

Hopkins visited the Titans last month and met with the New England Patriots the following week.

Good pitching by DeAndre Hopkins.

So for a while I thought he was going to sign Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, but apparently he had some interest. Ultimately, though, he decided to bring his talents to Nashville, and it made perfect sense.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Hopkins signing with the Patriots was also a smart decision, but when you imagine an offense led by Derrick Henry and DeAndre Hopkins… I like it. Well, I still have trust issues with Ryan Tannehill, but he’s not that kind of person. bad As a quarterback, Hopkins will need to step up his offense, which will eventually boost Tennessee as a whole. Expect the Titans to make this season even more exciting with new additions, but that said, they’re still far from a Super Bowl team. But I certainly like the way Tennessee is going.
