The Dramatic Detail About Matthew Perry’s Death That Nobody Is Talking About

According to court documents, Matthew Perry's assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, found him unconscious at least twice in the days before he died, but no one has spoken about it.

The revelations came as part of an investigation into the “Friends” star's death that has led to multiple arrests. San Diego doctors Dr. Salvador Plascencia, Dr. Mark Chavez, Eric Fleming, Jasveen Sangha, known as the “Queen of Ketamine,” and Iwamasa were arrested in connection to the star's death.

All of these were allegedly involved in the actor's death, but all the warning signs were reportedly there. Court Documents Shared by Law and Crime NetworksDocuments obtained by the media outlet stated that Iwamasa, who “pleaded guilty” to “conspiracy to distribute ketamine resulting in death,” found Perry unconscious after using ketamine but continued to administer the drug.

“Over the course of several days leading up to October 28, 2023, and at Victim MP's direction, Defendant injected Victim MP with large amounts of ketamine,” court documents shared with Law & Crime reveal, referring to Perry by his initials. “For example, between October 24 and October 27, 2023, Defendant administered approximately six to eight injections per day to Victim MP.”

The document reportedly further stated that “during the month of October 2023, the defendant found the victim, MP, unconscious at his home on at least two occasions.”

That passage from the court documents was broadcast on video and shared widely, and is noteworthy.

Documents obtained by Law & Crime have previously revealed that Iwamasa was given free access to ketamine to administer to famous actors, despite having no medical training or background.

This leads to further investigation into his actions, and questions about whether anything was being done to care for Perry as he spiraled out of control. If Iwamasa had stumbled upon Perry's body, unconscious after injecting him with ketamine at least twice, why did he continue to administer the drug?

It also raises the question: what was being done to help the star whose health was deteriorating? It must have been an incredibly stressful and worrying situation for Iwamasa to witness, yet he continued to give Perry multiple injections.

I would like to go further from this point and dig deeper into the investigation to understand the scene of Perry's death. Did Iwamasa assume that Perry would recover as he had done in the past? Did he respond by immediately calling paramedics to the scene, or did he assume that Perry would somehow recover in this case, as he had done from at least two other ketamine overdoses?

Perry's autopsy A statement released in December stated that the amount of ketamine in Perry's blood was in the same range as the amount used for general anesthesia during surgery. If Iwamasa had injected him with the drug, why would he have left him unattended, especially unsupervised in a hot tub? If Iwamasa had acted sooner, or if he had not been so concerned about how Perry's condition and subsequent death would directly affect him, the actor's life may have been saved.

I hope they investigate further, and if an investigation is already underway, I hope this information is shared more widely to raise awareness of this important incident and the opportunities that may have been missed to prevent this tragedy. Perry's final moments deserve more attention, especially since it has already been widely reported that he told Iwamasa to “shoot the big one” before dying. peopleCiting the plea agreement.
