Everyone’s favorite rock’n’rollers, the Eagles, announced a farewell tour on Thursday.
The iconic band has been around for more than 50 years, played thousands of concerts and sold hundreds of millions of albums, but it seems they’re ready to give up their guitars for retirement, according to Variety. reported. report. Many bands claim every tour will be their last, but for the Eagles this may actually be their last.
Band members Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt, along with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, will play “as many shows as the audience wants in each market,” according to Variety. reported. Steely Dan will accompany them on their journey. Their first show is scheduled for September 7th at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
“Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us could have dreamed.
