The GOAT’s Still Got It! Tom Brady Just Ran A Faster 40-Yard Dash At Age 46 Than He Did When He Was 22

Tom Brady, the greatest football player in NFL history, ran a faster 40-yard dash at the age of 46 than he ran at the NFL combine 24 years ago.

Brady's dash was timed by hand using two stopwatches. One person recorded a time of 5.12 seconds, and the other recorded a time of 5.18 seconds. Both times beat his 2000 NFL Draft composite time of 5.28.

Brady ran a sprint in his own shoes in a promotional video for his athletic brand Nobull, which he posted on Twitter.

“Twenty-four years ago, I ran the 40-yard dash in 5.28 seconds,” Brady said at the beginning of the video.

Brady's business partner, Mike Ripoll, added a hilarious joke at the end of the video: “If you had done that 25 years ago, you would have been drafted in the third round.” The Patriots famously selected Brady with the 199th pick in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft.

Brady also said he plans to continue improving his times. “Next year will be faster,” he said.

Wow, the GOAT still has it. Brady, who is famously healthy, takes great care of his body and makes every effort to eat healthy…but still. No, 5.18 is not great. But running faster than you did when you were 22 when you're only four years away from turning 50 is insane. This video makes me hope that Brady might finally return to the NFL and try to win his 8th Super Bowl. If he really wants to make it sub-5, he might have to.

I would love to see him get that drive and competitiveness back for another NFC team and get one last chance to see the big Mahomes vs. Brady game again.
