One of the most notable parts of the evening was the mainstream media journalists flocking to cover the event. From an instant, attendees climb the stairs and look like Butterworth New York Times, Washington Postand other mainstream media outlets request interviews or take photos of articles.

The media loves to cover hot young conservatives who have the ball, but they don’t seem to know why. Why are these events so fascinating and travelling several states for hours on soiré?

Perhaps Colyar’s discomfort came more from the fact that conservatives are no longer quiet. The days of scary wearing magazine hats in front of people have passed as young people are feared, harassed and socially exiled. There’s a safety in the numbers, and these young conservatives are proud to be part of a cool kids club.
“For too long, I was pleased that the Right is a quiet majority. As my own event proved, along with this parent-sponsored event, we no longer allow us to be left to the shadows,” Pearson told me.
Perhaps the mainstream media is fascinated by society such as “America is hot again” and other conservative events are fascinated by mainstream media. The left is whining about Western beauty standards and “diet culture,” but can’t resist the charm of a room filled with attractive, well-dressed 20’s.
