‘The System Is Broken’: Widower Vows Revenge In Court Confrontation With Wife’s Killer

A widow who vowed to pursue his wife’s murderer through legal means after a Florida judge sentenced the accused in 30 days of prison on Monday.

Convicted teenager Miles Scott was driving on a suspended license and fatally hit 44-year-old Carin Chomsky. It has been reported. Widow Amal Chomsky protested the deal and said Scott spent much less time in prison than he wanted.

“I stand before you today as the most broken man on this planet,” Chomsky told the court during his ruling. “We use all law roads to make sure that your life, every school, every job, every person in your life knows you killed Carin.” He vowed and turned to Scott.

“The system is broken, and it’s broken beyond the judge,” Chomsky said after the verdict. “Judges are limited in power. The state attorney’s office has limited power.”

Chomsky vows not to give up and sues Scott and Scott’s mother for civil damages. He claimed in the lawsuit that the car that killed his wife was owned by Scott’s mother.

Florida deputies claim Scott had fallen asleep on the wheels on the morning of crashing and was driving without a license.
