I also like gambling, but this is too much.
Many criticize Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell for his decision to go for two after a penalty forced his team to the 7-yard line, resulting in a clear one-point lead. Lost to Dallas Cowboys. And one of the people who is under fire for the captain is radio host Jim Costa.
Campbell appeared on “97.1 The Ticket'' Tuesday morning, during which Costa asked Campbell about play calling.
“I told the offense we were going to try to win. “We were going to get behind, score, and go for a two-goal lead. But I just couldn't get out of there.”
Continuing to be pressed about it by Costa (and his co-hosts), Campbell got visibly irritated and got a little harsh with them, getting straight to the point and calling them out on what they really wanted to say. Ta.
“I know, just say it. Both of you. Say what you want.” (Related: Philadelphia Eagles locker room reportedly in chaos over AJ Brown and Nick Sirianni beef)
Costa replied, “I think it's a low-percentage play considering No. 7.'' “I think you're less likely to win than kicking the extra point.”
“No, tell me to tell someone else,” Campbell retorted. “I'm on the radio, say whatever you want.”
“I thought it was a reckless decision,” Costa said.
“Thank you!” Campell said simply.
“Okay, but do you have any regrets?” Costa asked.
“No,” an irritated Campbell replied.
And it's as tense as it sounds.

Dan Campbell is as authentic as it gets.

Dan Campbell…has been keeping it real since day one. But it was a really bad call, just saying.
