2325 University Boulevard Suite 3
Brown's Corner, owned by Half Shell Oyster House, is located on its second floor. Inspired by a speakeasy, this lounge doubles as a restaurant and bar, with a diverse menu. Still part of the half-shell, the menu is full of seafood, including tuna poke, scallops, and lobster. If seafood isn't your thing, we also have chicken, burgers, and other delicious options. Brown's Corner offers an extensive drink menu, but the main focus is on old-fashioned drinks. With four signature options, you can create your own by choosing your favorite liqueurs, bitters, and sweeteners. You can also enjoy traditional hickory smoke tableside. If that's not your drink of choice, Brown's Corner offers several wines, martinis, bourbons, and cocktails.

Deli Press
312 Merchants Walk
The Deli Press is owned by Justin Holt, owner of Southern Ale House. The two restaurants are across the street and right next to each other. Inspired by the nostalgia of paper newspapers, He Press believes that “every sandwich has a story.” The menu features a variety of sandwiches, including cheddar jalapeño sausage and turkey brie. All sandwiches come with a side, and luckily The Deli Press has several homemade options. Choose from Cajun potato salad, white cheddar macaroni cheese, and more.

With more than 15 locations, Jack Brown's isn't new to the Southeast, but it's a new fan favorite among Tuscaloosa foodies. Jack Brown's delivers a fun burger experience with unique flavor combinations such as the Cobra Kai, which features creamy brown cheese, pickled jalapeños, and jalapeño jelly. The menu also features daily specials with six unique burgers from Sunday through Friday, and on Saturdays, the Freestyle His Burger, which offers a different topping combination each week. In addition to burgers, the shop also offers hundreds of different beers. Adults can become “notchers'' who drink 100 beers. If beer isn't your thing, you can finish your meal with their famous fried Oreos.
