These guys can’t be serious.
Since Anheuser-Busch decided to can the transgender Dylan Mulvaney in April, Bud Light’s sales have been downright sluggish and getting worse week by week.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know why. The majority of Americans don’t want politics to get involved in anything, but … get it, and I know it sounds crazy … just politics! No beer, no sports, no movies, no music, no politics. Seriously, what’s so difficult about that concept that people don’t understand?
But of course there are some great dinosaur media that have to move things around, like the Washington Post. We cannot know the simple truth. Oh no, no, it’s too simplistic.
In exchange, you get hilarious gems (or at least comedy provided) like this:

Quoting Dave Williams, vice president of analytics and insights at Bump Williams, The Washington Post reported that “expansion of the U.S. beer customer base continues to be a challenge for brewers, so consumers will may be moving away from Bud Light.”
oh ok Is this really the story they are pushing forward? Does WaPo really think people will believe it? (Related article: Joe Biden enrages WNBA All-Star Aja Wilson for missing out on Las Vegas Ace Championship)
Hint, Washington Post: They’re not.

Historic and unprecedented decline in sales revenue and volume…

Keeping politics out of our beer drinkers…it’s that easy.
