A series of temperature records were broken in mid-July, suggesting a very hot summer in the northern hemisphere.
Persian Gulf International Airport reportedly recorded 152 degrees Fahrenheit at 12:30 pm local time on July 16. according to To amateur meteorologist Colin McCarthy. Even with temperatures as low as 104 degrees Fahrenheit combined with the extremely high dew points (humidity) reported in the same region, McCarthy described the forecast as “a situation of extremes.”
Similar extremes were recorded in China’s Sambao, with temperatures reaching 126 degrees Fahrenheit, 1.7 degrees Fahrenheit higher than the previous high, McCarthy said. I got it in another post. And these highs seem to be as well bothering North America and Europe as the world faces a series of ‘historic heatwaves’.
