Former Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas blasted the LGBT community in an interview with VladTV released Sunday.
The former basketball star had a wide-ranging discussion with hip-hop journalist DJ Vlad. Alinas eventually shifted the focus of the conversation to the LGBT community, accusing them of “unfair” conduct. (Related: Colleges add ‘Fae/Faer’ to list of 15 pronouns by which students can be identified)
“I think LGBT people are the most unfair group on the planet right now,” Arenas said.
DJ Vlad asked Arenas to expand his thinking further.
“They have a playbook that only they can play and only they can see, and no one else can see this playbook. It’s being judged by stuff, but we don’t know it,” Arenas added.
Arenas criticized efforts to “cancel” people for not using their preferred pronouns. He argued that society was still getting used to these concepts and that the LGBT community should show more patience.
“There is no open dialogue about what is right and what is wrong.
“How do you know? You make up for it as you go along.
“Arguing with an LGBT person is really suicidal,” Arenas continued.
“They have a whole dictionary to use against you. Yes, they can say whatever they want. .”
Arenas lamented that homosexuals can make slanderous comments about heterosexuals. But when heterosexuals make fun of homosexuals, they face harsh consequences.
