Yuma, Arizona — To help U.S. citizens prepare for international travel, the U.S. Postal Service will hold a Passport Fair on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Yuma Post Office.
Reservations are not required, but applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving early. A cut-off time may be required if the wait time exceeds the event time.
The fair will be held at the following locations:

Business hours: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
To speed up the process, customers must fill out a form in advance. Application forms, cost information, and how to apply for a passport book or passport card can be found at: usps.com/passport or travel.state.gov/passport. Customers can also obtain passport information in English and Spanish by calling the National Passport Information Center toll-free at (877) 487-2778.
To apply for a passport, applicants must have a valid photo ID and proof of citizenship.
Passport fees for adults (16 years and older) include a $130 application fee paid to the Department of State and an additional $35 processing fee paid to the Post Office. If you are under 16 years of age, the total cost is $100 to the Department of State and $35 to the Post Office. The Postal Service also offers passport photo services for $15. Application fees must be paid by cash or check. You can pay for your photos and fees using cash, check, or credit or debit cards.
identification card — You can submit a current or previous U.S. passport, naturalization certificate, citizenship certificate or current and valid driver’s license, government ID or military ID that includes your signature and a photo that closely resembles you. Masu.
Copy of identification card – front and back – must be submitted with your passport application. The post office provides copying services for an additional fee.
proof of citizenship Contains one of the following:
- certified birth certificate Issued by city, county, or state.
- naturalization certificate or citizenship certificateand

Children under 16 (state.gov) Both parents/guardians must approve the issuance of a child’s passport. The best way to obtain consent is for both parents/guardians to be present with their child at the time of application.
