Yuma, Arizona Passport Fair

Yuma, Arizona – The US Post Office is organizing a passport fair at the Yuma Post Office on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, to assist US citizens planning international travel.

No appointments are necessary, but applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. So, it’s a good idea to arrive early to avoid long wait times. If the event extends beyond the designated hours, there might be a cutoff for new applicants. Passport photos will also be available at the location.

The fair will take place at:
Yuma Post Office
2222 S 4th Avenue
Yuma, AZ 85364-9998

Hours of operation are from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

To make the process smoother, it’s advisable for customers to complete their application forms ahead of time. More information about the costs and requirements for obtaining a passport book or card can be found at usps.com/passport or travel.state.gov/passport. Additionally, for any questions, customers can contact the National Passport Information Centre at (877) 487-2778 for support in both English and Spanish.

When applying for a passport, individuals need to provide valid photo ID and proof of citizenship.

For adults aged 16 and older, the application fee is $130, payable to the “State Department,” with an additional $35 processing fee to the postal service. For applicants under 16, the total is $100 for the State Department and $35 for postal services. The postal service also offers passport photo services for $15. Payment can be made in cash or by check, with checks accepted for photo fees as well.

Proof of identification – Acceptable documents include a current or previous US passport, a certificate of naturalization, a citizenship certificate, or a valid driver’s license, government, or military ID. Make sure the ID shows your signature and a clear photo.

Citizenship evidence – You may include one of the following:

  1. Certified birth certificate from a city, county, or state.
  2. Certificate of Naturalization or Citizenship Certificate.
