The Miami Heat may have just lost in the 2023 NBA Finals, but the franchise will soon be well positioned as both Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal could bring their talents to South Beach. The paper reports that it is possible. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Now let’s break this down.

Bradley Beal is also reportedly interested in a move to the Heat.

I mean, they both want to go to Miami, and they both have the Heat as their primary landing spot, so we’ll definitely make it happen. So the question is… do we have what it takes to make this happen?
I don’t think there is any particular problem with that. Tyler Herro is arguably our best trade piece, and their trade stock has certainly skyrocketed with how much hype our undrafted players have received since our magical playoff run. and you have a trade pick. So I think we have the ingredients to make both moves happen. No problem there.
Now on to finances…can we afford it?
In this situation, the salary cap will not be an issue, but rather the luxury tax will be the biggest factor. Yes, our owner Mickey Allison (Owner of Carnival Cruises) could pour all the money in the world into Lillard and Beer, but it would probably cost millions more than taxes to make it happen.
