“That bet and that dinner is still going on. Let me tell you a fact,” Terrell told Bernie. “Black Americans under 30 are not big Democrat supporters. “Trump basically offered the same policies to all Americans. They want jobs. They want to buy homes. They want border security. And what black Americans, young black Americans are saying is they're rejecting the Democratic Kool-Aid,” Terrell continued. “I don't think they woke up with racism. I want to be very clear on this point: There is no systemic racism in America. There is racism, but it's not government-sponsored racism. That's gone. And that doesn't help you win the support of young black Americans. They're going to reject the racism card and they're going to turn to Trump's economic policies.”

“You're right. Trump's economic policies have worked regardless of race. They've worked for all Americans, and black Americans have benefited under Trump,” Terrell told Bernie. “And one last thing: I have a witness here, a Democrat who voted for Trump in 2020 and will vote for Trump in 2024 regardless of race because he's what's best for America.”
