‘They Would Not Applaud For Peace’: Ted Cruz Calls Out Democrats For Their Silence On Ending War

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz called out Democrats on Newsmax on Tuesday for silence over President Donald Trump’s efforts to end the war in Ukraine.

In a marathon call, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump agreed to launch the peace process with a progressive and temporary ceasefire in the foreign conflict. Cruz discussed the moment in President Trump’s coalition speech, where responses from Democrats to end the war were significantly suppressed.

“The Democrats were silent and the stones were in face-to-face when he said, ‘We’re going to end this war. We’re going to move to peace.'” They did not praise peace. They praised nothing,” Cruz said. “They didn’t praise the 13-year-old who was fighting to defeat brain cancer.”

Democrats remained seated when Trump praised DJ Daniel, a cancer boy who was sworn in over 900 police stations and appointed as an honorary secret service agent during his speech in Congress.

Cruz then recounted cases that appear to fit more in favor of ongoing military involvement, not initiatives for peace, even when he is hoping to end hostilities. According to Cruz, this stance was evident when he chose not to praise the president’s overture of peace. (Related: “A little bit extreme”: Stephen A. “One of the things Democrats praised was that they said, “We sent hundreds of billions of dollars to Ukraine.” And all the Democrats were praised like crazy. “He called Elizabeth Warren ‘Pocahontas’. [something] They are against it. ”

President Trump announced in February that peace negotiations on a true society would be cancelled following a heated debate in his oval office with Ukrainian President Voldy Mie Zelensky.
