'Inside The NBA' is truly legendary, and here's another reason why.
When it comes to TNT television programming, it has one of the best panels in television history. Shaquille O'Neal, Charles Barkley, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith…these guys are real.
But I have to be honest. We know how funny they are on the air, but frankly, they might be even more hilarious off the air. That's because a now-viral video reveals a behind-the-scenes look at the “Inside The NBA” staff. And lo and behold, these boys are gold medalists.
While the TNT crew was setting up the stage and getting everything ready, Shaq started complaining about TNT not broadcasting the Orlando Magic, who had retired their jerseys. Uniform number 32 has been permanently retired.he became the first player in franchise history to accomplish that.
Well, TNT didn't broadcast the ceremony, rather it was on NBA TV, but Shaq wasn't happy about it. TNT was hosting a doubleheader that night, which is why they didn't put up the jersey retirement, but “Diesel” didn't care. “I just found out [TNT] You can’t ask me not to do anything for them,” Shaq said.
“What do you mean?” Johnson asked.
“He's upset that they didn't air his ceremony.” [TNT]” replied Barclay.
“I'm not mad, brother, it's okay,” Shaq replied.
Oh my god, this was gold… pure white gold.
