Because, of course, this is still happening in 2024…unbelievable.
The granddaughter of legendary (and imprisoned) Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman was spotted searching for the mysterious Loch Ness Monster while on holiday in Scotland, reports say. herald.
Introducing Frida Sofia Guzmán Muñoz, daughter of El Chapo's eldest son, Edgar Guzmán López. In 2008, a hitman from a rival cartel murdered Lopez in a shopping center parking lot in Mexico's Sinaloa state.
Muñoz is also the niece of Joaquín Guzman López and Ovidio Guzman, leaders of the Los Chapitos faction of the Sinaloa cartel. The Sinaloa cartel is very powerful. This international criminal organization founded by El Chapo is the largest drug supplier to the United States. Muñoz, who visited multiple parts of Europe (including London) and ended up in Scotland, ended up in Loch Ness.
Ms Muñoz uploaded photos on social media of herself sampling whiskey at Edinburgh's Johnnie Walker Princess Street and admiring Edinburgh Castle on Castle Street.
But then her journey got even more interesting.
She headed to the Highlands to visit Loch Ness. She posted photos of her spooky boat trip on the lake, which revolved around Nessie hunting.
