Phoenix (3TV/CBS 5) — A thunderstorm from the north hits the Phoenix area, bringing strong winds to the East Valley. We have declared Tuesday as the first warning weather day. Over 4,600 of his SRP customers at Apache Junction are out of power due to the weather. Several intersections in the city are closed due to debris and broken power lines. The National Weather Service issued a dust storm warning for the Valley until 5:30 p.m.
