Tide and Tigers fall in latest AP Poll



Following 1-1 weeks for Alabama and Auburn, the men's basketball team fell in the standings this week. AP top 25.

Auburn lost to Tennessee in Knoxville last Wednesday and dominated Mississippi State on Saturday, but the Tigers fell from 11th to 13th place.

Alabama dropped from 14th to 16th after defeating Ole Miss on the road last Wednesday and losing at home to Tennessee on Saturday.

Both teams have two games left in the regular season, tonight and Saturday. Alabama will play Florida on the road tonight in Gainesville, while Auburn will face bottom-ranked Missouri, which is 0-16 in conference play, on the road.

Both teams end the year on a relatively light note this weekend.

Alabama hosts Arkansas, one of the most disappointing players in the conference. Saturday.

Auburn will close out the regular season at home against Georgia, which won easily in Athens.

The big matchup of the week is Wednesday night when Tennessee visits South Carolina in a game that could decide the SEC regular season title.
