In August 2019, investigators raided Wilson Wildlife Park in Winchester and seized 119 animals, including lions, tigers, bears, camels, goats and buffaloes. The animals were placed in the custody of animal control agencies and exotic and agricultural animal rescue partners. The zoo is permanently closed.
