Today’s Photo from Ted Grussing Photography: The Unseen Ones

… Driving the I-17 to Flagstaff gives you a visual treat as the San Francisco peaks come into view and dominate the horizon… It’s amazing! The tallest peak is not Humphrey’s Peak (the tallest of the peaks at 12,637 feet), but Agassiz’ Peak, which is Arizona’s second tallest at 12,360 feet and Arizona’s second tallest. South. In the photo above Agassiz is behind me and out of frame on the right… Humphreys is the highest peak in the image and down the ridges on the right are Orbinoe Peak and Leith Peak, A few miles to the right of it is O’Leary. Peak…the small bump between Humphreys and Orbineau has no name. In the distance you can see the Painted Desert and on the far left is the Kaibab single ramp of East He. It was a beautiful day on the ridge!

Pictured below is a photograph of a Western Bluebird preparing to leave the sticks it was stuck on, going through the gap … In the background is a clear improvement in the embankment surrounding the cow pond … ‘said Naf 🙂

It doesn’t take long to reach Lake Pleasant, so that wraps up the day. Have a beautiful day. I bet it will be… The plan is to breathe in the morning and everything flows from there.

with joy,

Ted

Allow Self-Abdication Occasionally
A whim of beauty; passing guarded sentries
You are in a city of captivity and live there for an hour
Home of the World, Knowing Still Life
air people.

Learn the music of restless summer nights
Surrender to the waves of the sea or the rays of the sun
An open country where the endless sky finally meets
Kiss the sweet green earth and stay till it turns red
Shaft will set the western world on fire.

And something unconnected within you will rise
Something in your trade’s tiring routine
strange and calm.
