Tom Homan Critiques Far-Left Democrat for Supporting a Foreign Nation Instead of Her Own

Homan Criticizes Ramirez at Summit

Tom Homan, a prominent figure in border enforcement, took aim at Democratic Illinois Representative Delia Ramirez during an anti-American summit in Mexico City. He mocked her declaration of pride in being American, especially as she represented her constituents.

“I’m not a fan of what she said. She’s our representative, a citizen, and should focus on serving her state and the voters who put her there,” Homan commented. “It seemed to me like she was advocating for illegal immigrants from Guatemala.”

Homan also reaffirmed that Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) would ramp up deportations until all illegal aliens, particularly from Guatemala, are removed from the U.S. “She needs to understand that we intend to deport thousands of Guatemalan citizens weekly. That’s what’s expected of us,” he said.

Ramirez was at the summit alongside other left-leaning lawmakers, such as Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, pushing for a challenge to U.S. global dominance. She faced criticism for her parents’ undocumented entry into the country and for their past suffering due to war, especially focusing on themes of imperialism and conquest.

Interestingly, Ramirez’s husband is also an undocumented immigrant, highlighting her position as a lawmaker in what she describes as a “mixed-status marriage.” This sparked calls from Republican Tennessee Representative Andy Ogles for her deportation. “We know where her loyalty lies,” he stated bluntly.

Omar has also made waves with past comments emphasizing her dedication to representing Somali-American interests. In a February video, she seemed to provide advice to undocumented Somali immigrants regarding avoiding deportation, prompting Texas Republican Brandon Gill to propose a petition for her expulsion from Congress.
