Toyota Alabama engine plant sets new production record

Toyota Manufacturing Alabama Engine Plant in Huntsville has set a new facility record for most engines assembled in a single year, and that number is expected to grow.

The company announced that the plant produced 770,000 engines in 2023 alone. At maximum production, this facility could produce as many as 900,000 pieces.

“Toyota Alabama supplies more than one-third of all engines for Toyota's North American operations,” said Jason Paquette, president of Toyota Alabama. “All Toyota Alabama lines assemble both hybrid and internal combustion engines.”

Paquette praised the work of the facility's employees.
