Traders Joe’s has announced a recall of its brand of soup, affecting products in seven states, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

“There have been no known adverse health effects reported to date, and all potentially affected products have been removed from sale and destroyed,” the company said in a statement.
“If you unexpectedly purchase or receive a donation of Broccoli Cheddar Soup, please dispose of the product or return it to Trader Joe’s for a full refund,” the announcement continued. “We apologize for the inconvenience.”
The soup recall is the second recall this week for Trader Joe’s after it announced a recall of two cookies over concerns it “may contain stones.”
