Flagstaff, Arizona (azfamily) – An early morning traffic halt has led Coconino County deputies to seize more than 100 pounds of methamphetamine early on Monday.
The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office stopped a traffic violation vehicle on State Route 89 near Brislaine around 2:30am.
Lawmakers say during the suspension, “Dex” said the K-9 sniffed and warned officers about something in the vehicle.
Authorities searched the car. There, approximately 158 pounds of methane was found and seized.
The driver of the car was arrested and booked at the Coconino County Jail For the transport of dangerous drugs for sale.
The suspect’s name has not been released yet.
