YCSO deputies pursued the railroad robbery suspect along I-40 until a stop pole was deployed.
YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. — An alleged train robbery ended with an arrest by law enforcement officers over the weekend, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.
Around midnight Friday, a BNSF train near Seligman was reportedly robbed by a white box truck. YCSO deputies arrived on scene while the robbery was still in progress.
The white truck and another vehicle then headed west on Interstate 40, and the deputy followed, according to YCSO.
As the truck approached Kingman, stop bars were deployed to immobilize the vehicle. The truck driver attempted to flee on foot, but was arrested by state troopers. The man driving the other vehicle was also arrested.
YCSO has not released the suspect’s name.
