Trinity Christian kept the perfect season alive with another in his bag on Thursday. They were clear winners with a 12-4 margin over Flagstaff Christians. 12 appears to be a good number for the Warriors as they won with the same number of runs in the last game.

Josh Parton had a big impact while batting and pitching. He kept locked things up without any runs or hits he acquired while he hit seven innings on pitching for five or more innings. Also, the dominant performance lowered him a new career during the walk (3). He was also solid in the batter’s box, 2 for 3 with one triple, two RBIs and one run. These two RBIs gave him a new career best.

In other batting news, Weston Sharp was incredible, running 4-4. Another player that makes the difference was Henry Patterson, who scored a run on 4-4.

Trinity Christian finished the game with 15 hits, defending the outfield with his toes. That strong performance was nothing new to the team. They now have at least eight hits in five consecutive games, dating back to last season.

Trinity Christian’s victory was his seventh straight on the road, dating back to last season, pushing the record to 3-0. The victory only abandoned a 1.0 run average in these games thanks to pitching efforts. As for Flagstaff Christians, they were on a three-game losing streak, dropping them 0-3.

Now, Trinity Christians will be away from home against Wickenburg Christian Academy on Monday at 5pm. As for Flagstaff Christians, we welcome the Tri-City Christian Academy on Thursday at 4pm.
