Winning is always great, but doing so behind a high score for the season is even better (please ask Tuba City). Everything went towards the Hopi Bruins on Thursday as they won a 24-7 victory. Give some credit to fans on both teams. The last five times they met, the home team left the winner.

Tuba City has scored a massive performance from Miara Viragodi. He scored three runs and stole five basses on the bases on all four plate appearances. Jailynn Acothley was another important player, earning three runs and stole three bases on all four plate appearances.

Tuba City always had someone on bass and ended the game. It’s the best OBP they’ve posted all season.

Tuba City pushed the record 6-11 with the win. This was my fourth consecutive time at home. Those home wins were thanks to their hit performances on that stretch. As for the Hopi, they took on 11 games of losses (from last season), dropping them 0-10.
