Tuba City Triumphs Against Ganado

Tuba City faced off against Ganado in October 2024 and, while they were defeated then, they turned the tables on Wednesday. The Warriors clinched a decisive 3-0 victory over the Hornets, securing their second consecutive win.

Throughout the match, Ganado struggled to score, though they nearly equalized in the third set. The final set scores were 25-19, 25-20, and 25-22.

Thaila Clitso led the Tuba City offense with 11 kills, supported by Auraiya Granger, who contributed 18 assists. Both players were key in delivering effective plays throughout the match.

As of now, Tuba City holds a record of 9-8, whereas Ganado’s loss dropped their tally to 11-9.

Notably, Tuba City didn’t have to wait long to return to action, quickly following up their victory with another match against Zuni on the 25th, winning that one 2-0. Ganado also got back onto the court soon after.
