U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville is making it a priority to recommend Alabama's brightest students to the United States Military Academy with a desire to serve their country.
U.S. senators and representatives can each nominate up to 10 candidates for each available spot in the academy, and up to five students from their offices will attend each academy at any given time. This process includes a thorough evaluation of moral character, leadership skills, and academic excellence.
“In times of global instability, our military needs brave young men and women to ensure that America remains the world's greatest fighting force.” said Sen. Tuberville (R-Auburn). “It is an honor to nominate these great Alabamians to the United States Service Academy. We are grateful for their passion to serve and protect our country.”
