Tucker Carlson, co-founder of the Daily Caller News Foundation, told News Nation’s Chris Cuomo on Monday that Republican Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton allegedly tried to block employment of certain people on the Intelligence Email Committee.
Voters pushed them to look at government files regarding the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy and the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. In the case of President Donald Trump’s second term, a new House oversight task force on the confidentiality of government documents was formed to review the material. In “The Tucker Carlson Show,” Carlson explained how certain employment is being discussed for the Intelligence Reports world.

“In January there was a scramble on who would get what job in the new administration. At one point, people who are being discussed for work in the Intel world and members of the SSCI, the Intelligence Election Committee and the Intelligence Committee Senate Selection Committee, made the decision and said, “We can’t hire this person, so we can’t make sure we push the release of the JFK file.”
“This was two months before 2025, and there were members of the US Senate sitting, and their main goal is to keep those files secret. Then you have to ask yourself, ‘What is that?’,” Carlson asked. “If six weeks ago, the US Senator said he was trying to protect someone from work to keep these files secret, then to protect the CIA, I don’t believe it for a moment.”
Cuomo asks Carlson that he believes there is “there” protection of files, but Carlson says that protecting files to protect the CIA makes no sense given that no one knows who is part of the agency during Kennedy’s assassination.

January, playing cards order The National Intelligence director and other officials presented him on January 23 to present a plan to release the JFK file within 15 days of his request. The FBI confirmed with the Daily Coller that an estimated 2,400 records have been discovered “previously unrecognized” associate with the assassination of JFK on February 11th.
Carlson went on to say that holding files “has no point.” Cuomo emphasized that the release of Epstein’s file “Phase 1” was a disappointment for Americans as no new information was released.
“Another time, you obviously have the power to put measurable pressure on people who should have the power,” Carlson said. “The elected US president should have power under our system. It is called democracy. And his appointees have power derived from him. But they appear to be helpless in the face of other sources of power, but the question is, what is that source?”
When the two men sailed back and forth between expected changes within the FBI, Cuomo stopped Carlson and asked why he didn’t know why it allegedly prevented the file from being released.
“Wait a second. This is the part I don’t understand. You are uniquely entitled to get this answer, as one of us can now call the President of the United States and ask him. So why don’t you know?” Cuomo asked.
“So what I brought to it was the knowledge that I called and said I couldn’t appoint this person,” Carlson began.
Cuomo pushed Carlson again, asking the DCNF co-founder to “expose” the senator, allowing others to start “chasing him or her.”
“Tom Cotton of Arkansas did that,” Carlson said.
“Tom Cotton?” Cuomo asked.
Carlson confirmed the name again with Cuomo.
The contents of both the JFK and Epstein files are not fully disclosed. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondy said the FBI was looking into thousands of additional files on March 3 and hopes to release the full document soon.
Cotton’s office did not immediately respond to DCNF’s request for comment.
